Allowed Species
1. Shape-Shifters.
Shape-Shifters are just as the name implies. They are humans that have been blessed, or cursed as some see it, to change their shape into an animal or, as only a select few can, a plant. A few select Shifters can also do very minor magic, but it's almost never seen anymore.
Sifters can have anywhere from one shape to five. They always have a preferred shape that is used most of the time. They will only use their other shapes if their is a great need for them, or if they want to do something different. Shifting into a minor shift is harder and takes more effort then to shift into their preferred shape.
Shifters are able to be told apart from magic users and normal humans due to many different traits. Shifters naturally have unnatural colored hair or eyes. Their eyes are almost always bright and usually match their hair color. Sometimes the hair color is a few shades darker.
2. Magic Users.
Their are two types of magic users. The first is sorcery and pretty self explanatory. They are able to use their magic through spells and some are able to make potions. Depending on their skills. The definition for sorcery can be found here.
The second type of magic is elemental. An elemental magic user can call upon one and manipulate of five elements. The five elements that are seen are: Earth, Wind, Water, Fire, and Darkness. Depending on their strength, skill, and concentration, they can do anything with the element as long as it's in their grasp.
Just like Shifters, magic users look different then normal humans. They are harder to catch then Shifters in crowd of people due to the fact they look almost the same as a human. Their hair is of normal color and they look almost the same as a normal person. The one thing that sets their looks apart is their eyes. Magic users have flecks of color scattered around their irises. Sorcerers have rainbow colored flecks that catch then light and sparkle. Elementals have fleck colors depending on their element. Earth users have green and brown flecks, Wind users have white and gray flecks, Water users have blue and navy flecks, Fire users have orange and red flecks, and Darkness users have pitch black flecks.
3. Normal Humans.
Normal humans are just that, normal. They have no magical powers, not crazy hair or eye colors, nothing. They are just like you and me.
Almost all normal hums have grudges against Shifter and magic users. There are a select few that hold nothing against them and wish to live in peace with them. Some of them like to find talking animals, catch them, and keep them as pets. This act is illegal in Perith City, but many humans think they have the right to it and do it anyways.
4. Talking Animals.
Talking animals are just like any other animals accept for one thing, they can talk in the tongue of people. They can speak fluently in tongue of man but they have a slight animalistic accent to their voice depending on their breed.
Talking animals always have a gleam in their eyes that show their intelligence. Some of them even surpass the knowledge of humans. Most are able to read texts and some even devote themselves to study the many texts of humans.
Some talking animals have found that they are able to do very minor magic. Some of the magic they can do is heal minor wounds, revive small plants that are dieing, and help ease the pain of others. This task, though, leave them drained of a lot of strength and very tired.
6. Pets.
Just as it says, these animals are just regular pets. They can't talk to humans, although they can talk to other animals, and they can't do any form of magic. A lot of the time they are kept by Shifters due to the fact that many normal humans are scared of them.
